On a cold night, pretending to be a climber, I climbed the dysfunctional streetlamp in Korzh Street 3. The aim of the flash-mob was to attract attention of Salihorsk authorities to this problem. By-passers could just pass by our actions.

They were laughing and seemed to start applauding anytime soon. But jokes aside, let us quote poet Ivan Bunin in a totally serious way:

“No emptiness nor darkness is given to us.

Light is everywhere…”
The poet talked about something more large-scale, but for us, local residents, priority is to live comfortably. A functional streetlamp would be very handy.
